Architectural Design Practice

BGC (Bin Ghanem Consulting) was established in 1980 by Mr. Vahe V. Tutunjian.

It was his determination to create an Architectural Consulting Office, which will be a professional practice and provide design solutions to create an Architecture, which will be sustainable, at the same time preserve the local architectural traditions and lifestyle.

Architectural design categories and Clients

Since 1980 BGC designed for QGPC (QP) in various project categories i.e.

Residential, Administrative, Industrial, Entertainment, Interior, Landscaping etc. (refer the list) Relevant design standards used in QP, Q.C.S., later ISO 9001:2008 up to ISO 9001:2015 were adopted by BGC and used in all their projects, thus providing a highly professional-individual design services to their Clients. During this period BGC also designed for Doha Municipality, Qatar Armed Forces and Private Sector.

Landscaping and Interior Design services.

In 1995, Mr. Vahe Tutunjian together with Mrs. Gohar Tutunjian, established Landscaping and Interior Design sections in BGC for in-house designed projects; purpose of which was to provide a comprehensive and coordinated solutions to our clients under One Design Signature.

Office Registration

In 2006 the new name VGC-Arplan Consulting Architects was adopted, to keep up with the new requirements of Doha Planning Authorities which has established new classification system. Thus, VGC-Arplan Consulting Architects has satisfied the new requirements of Planning Department and accordingly is qualified as “A” Class Architectural Office.

Continuous Education

To keep up to date in their profession as lead architects Vahe and Gohar are continuously travelling, participating in conferences and seminars with training programs in project management, sustainable architecture, feasibility studies, learning and researching different architectural finishes and products, to be able to upgrade the quality of their designs. Eventually to help the Clients, by offering them complete design solutions in Architecture, Engineering, Interior design and landscaping.
