Great achievements usually start with small steps. This was also the case with MIDITEC, founded in 1983. In the beginning the company developed IT-Solutions for automation technology.

This was followed by many more interesting and challenging projects in which subjects such as time & attendance and security played an increasingly large role. In order to take this content-related development into account, at the end of the 1990´s the company changed its name to MIDITEC Datensysteme GmbH.

Miditec is now one of the leading providers of hard- and software solutions in the areas of access management, building security and hotel solutions. It is a medium sized company that is commercially healthy and innovative. Development and manufacture still take place in Bremen, with deliveries all over the world. What began as a small rental office in the Bremen city centre now has its own business premises in a technology park, the number of employees has grown to over 70 and the enthusiasm remains the same.
