Naseeb Maritime Co., W.L.L. was established in 1952 as a family owned business operating tugs and barges for movement of commercial cargo within the Gulf region. It started its operations in Mid 1950’s through transport of goods and passengers from and to Kuwait Old Port. The company operated on the strength of Late. Mohammed Jafar Naseeb whose long term vision at that time helped the company grow to its present strength.

Back in 1968, it was in fact the first national company to be awarded a contract by the Kuwait Oil Company for the provision of sea operations and services. Later in 1989, Naseeb was also awarded to transport rocks from Ras Al Khaima to Kuwait for the prestigious Amiri Diwan Project. Among many other projects the company was also involved in transporting Hyundai earth moving equipment from Kuwait to Bahrain by its Barges.

Since then the company added additional Tug boats, Mooring Boats and Pilot Boats to this lease. We are now specialized in providing towing services to the Kuwait Ports Authorities for the last 53 years.

In addition, it also manages and maintains the K.P.A owned fleet of tugs boats, pilot boats, mooring boats, buoy laying ships and other port maintenance vessels. Such is Naseeb’s diversified expertise that it even takes care of the heavy equipment and floating cranes. Today, Naseeb is involved with various activities from freight forwarding, providing Marine assets within oil sector; etc. Recently the company was also awarded a contract to maintain the buoys within Kuwait territorial water, wherein new tailor-made vessels were ordered to handle this highly specialized work. Naseeb is currently involved in providing offshore assistance in projects at Failaka Island and Bubyan Island.

Naseeb Maritime understands its environmental responsibilities and is further contracted to the Anti-Pollution section within Kuwait Ports Authority. We have recently been awarded the ISO 9001 – 2000 company status.

At present the strength of our company is a little 200 personnel and is managed by its Chairman – Mr. Jassim M. J. Naseeb and Vice President Mr. Ahmed M. J. Naseeb.
