na Almabani was established as a limited liability company in October 1972 in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, by H.E. the late Sheikh Kamal Adham._x005F_x000D_ _x005F_x000D_ In a prosperous economy fuelled by the oil boom, Almabani was in a position to participate in the execution of some of the most prestigious and landmark projects in the Kingdom. These projects executed from 1973 onwards range from major high- rise buildings, sewage projects, sensitive laboratories and R&D centres to roads, bridges, TBM constructed tunnels and major airports runways and facilities._x005F_x000D_ _x005F_x000D_ In 1982, Almabani flagged off its international operations by participating in the upgrading of the roads network in Lebanon. During 1991, the company opened a branch office in Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman. Almabani played an important role in the delineation of the border between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman._x005F_x000D_ _x005F_x000D_ During 1993 and 1994 Almabani was actively participating in the reconstruction program of Lebanon. The company not only participated in several infrastructural projects, but also invested in the first of its kind BOT project for the GSM network in Lebanon._x005F_x000D_ _x005F_x000D_ During 2001, Almabani executed the delineation of the border between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Yemen. From there on Almabani has successfully completed three other delineation in the region._x005F_x000D_ _x005F_x000D_ With growth, expansion became inevitable. So it was only natural that the company increases its capital. Thus from an initial capital of SR 500,000 (US$ 133,000) in 1972, the capitalization was increased twice to bring it to the present level of SR 100 Million (US$ 26.6 Million).
