Born into a family of musicians and photographers, Helmy was exposed to art at a very young age. He received his first camera, a Fisher-Price Kodak, from his parents at the age of 4, and his passion for photography transformed into a successful career. Helmy's artistic talent showcases the world's most recognized brands and he is regularly commissioned to work on projects for public and private organizations, including several Fortune 500 companies. 

Dedicating his lifestyle and profession to photography, he has an eye for uniquely capturing architectural & industrial sites at seaports and petrochemical plants, and he is well known among food aficionados for his fondness for food and his work in food photography. 

Most recently, Helmy has served as a director of photography on the set of several documentary films in East Africa and Saudi Arabia.
