Shamal Defense & Security System is a Saudi-owned company formed in 2003 to consolidate the financial investments and holding of its founding partners, whose holding was previously held in separate legal arrangements.

After consolidation, Shamal has established a Defense and Security sector in order to provide supplies and services for various agencies of the Saudi government; it also provides consultant services to a number of foreign defense and security companies throughout the world. Shamal is approved by the KSA Ministry of Interior’s Department of Public Security to deal in security, intelligence and military equipment and are currently preforming contracts with the KSA Ministry of Interior’s Special Security Forces, Royal Saudi Land Force, Royal Saudi Air Force, and the Royal Guard.
