Established just eight years after the founding of the UAE, Overseas Labour Supply (OLS) was set up in 1979 as a direct response to the growing manpower needs of the country and has since continuously grown alongside the development of the UAE.

Rapidly responding to the manpower needs of the Emirates, from the first construction boom, through to the diversification of the economy with the growth of Tourism and other sectors, OLS has played an integral part in the development of the UAE, providing more than 140,000 workers to almost every sector of industry.
