Zubair Furnishing - established in 1971 in the Sultanate of Oman, as a division of The Zubair Corporation, is a global Interior Contracting and Contract Furnishing company with over four decades of experience in the execution of medium to large-scale fit-out and furnishing projects for the hospitality, residential and commercial sectors worldwide. Zubair Furnishing - besides specializing in the manufacture and installation of custom made furniture, upholstered items, soft furnishing and fitted joinery, possesses considerable expertise and experience in specialist finishes such as decorative gypsum, painting, stone and tile works which enable it to meet the high-end finishing requirements of prestigious hospitality, residential and commercial projects. The company prides itself equally on its strengths in product engineering as well as the unique work environment that it has created with the 700 plus multi-racial and multi-disciplinary workforce it employs. The company has its own warehousing facilities and installation teams in the Sultanate of Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and India. The company also has alliances with dedicated installation companies across other territories.

 

The Company has furnished over 273 prestigious hotel projects across 32 countries and completed over 100 projects in the Commercial and Residential sector as on date and these numbers continue to grow.

 

Evolution of the Company:

 

Zubair Furnishing has traditionally been associated with high quality Joinery, Premium Furniture, Furnishings and Interior Fit Out and this fact is clearly visible in some of the elegant palaces, villas, hotels, residential and commercial establishments that have been fitted out by Zubair Furnishing over the last four decades. The first 20 years were spent concentrating on Oman based projects, which reflected the vibrant and emerging economy of the Sultanate of Oman in the 70's and 80's. During the early 90's, Zubair Furnishing spread its reach geographically to encompass the general Middle East/Arabian Gulf Region and came to be associated with some of the most prestigious projects in this region. In 1995, the Company was awarded the contract to furnish the Cottbus Holiday Inn Hotel in Germany. This event launched Zubair Furnishing's position as a truly international player in the furnishing arena with several prestigious projects to follow. The Company soon succeeded in winning the furnishing contracts for landmark hotels such as the London Marriott County Hall Hotel, UK, Schiphol Hilton Hotel at Amsterdam Airport and the Radisson BLU Hotel at Manchester Airport, to name a few. The Company also successfully entered the US Market with prestigious projects to its credit, such as Sofitel Washington, Sofitel Chicago, Hilton Ocean Edge Resort Massachusetts, The Hilton Hawaiian Village Honolulu, Ritz Carlton Orlando, JW Marriott Grand Lakes Orlando etc.

 

The Company has now evolved into an excellent Global Interior & Furnishing Contractor capable of meeting the turnkey fit-out requirements of high-end Hospitality, Residential and Commercial projects worldwide. Zubair Furnishing's commitment to Clients with in the interiors business is total, and this has resulted in the Company being approved as a vendor of furniture to major hotel chains such as Accor, Hilton, Marriott, Kempinski, Inter-Continental, Movenpick, Shangri-la, Starwood and others. The Country:

 

Zubair Furnishing is headquartered in the Sultanate of Oman, which has been a historic gateway to the Arabian Peninsula for over 4000 years. It is one of the most progressive countries in the Middle East, with a stable political environment, international banking standards, transparent judicial systems and business friendly regulations. Oman boasts of an efficient, state-of-the-art telecommunication system, excellent roads, air terminals and ultra-modern port facilities that connect the Sultanate to the world. The 1,700- kilometer coastline positions the Sultanate on the Equatorial Trade Route. One of the global hubs on the Trans Oceanic Shipping Route - Salalah Port, in the south, is a large transshipment port in the region where major shipping lines such as Maersk and Sealand have a strong presence. Other large ports getting ready to serve the trade routes include Duqm and Sohar which will provide additional access to the high seas.
