Rooting from the Southern coast of Italy (Puglia), Marianna Piccolo, an Architect and interior designer developed an aesthetic sense of beauty at an early age which was mainly influenced by culture, art, music but, most importantly by the rustic beauty and the famous imperial architecture of Italy. Her love for the aesthetically pleasing architecture pushed her to pursue it as a passion. Her outstanding architecture and interior designing skills (earned from the legendary Polytechnic University of Milan) gave her the opportunity to work in the eponymous design studio in Milan, under the supervision of the Italian God-Father of architecture and interior designing, Marco Piva. He taught Marianna the rational approach to designing while listening to her creative mind along with thinking out of the box.
Her love for creativity and the instilled traits of her mentor intrigued her to move to Dubai and pursue her passion. Her skills gave her the opportunity of working with prestigious firms like RW Armstrong, Sinergo S.P.A and Al Tayer Group, in her initial years which eventually led her to establish her MY PICK ONE Studio Design in 2014. Marianna’s love for simplicity and luxury at the same time leads her to adopt the approach of minimalism when she takes a project. Her philosophy of unearthing the beauty hidden in simplicity is something that intrigues her to come up with such elegant yet pleasing designs. The living example of her artistic yet luxurious commercial and residential work stands with all their might on the streets of Puglia, Paris, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Her love for the imperial Italian architecture along with the rustic vibes makes all her projects stand out with beauty and elegance. She is a multi-talented woman, who speaks at design forum while she holds enormous love for photography and fashion along with interior designing. But, her passion for designing projects that are led by creativity outnumbers her other passions.
