Philippines e-Visa for Nigerian Citizens
Citizens of Nigeria are now eligible to apply for a Philippines e-Visa online before traveling to the Philippines for tourism, short business visits, or leisure purposes. The Philippines has expanded its official e-Visa system to include Nigerian passport holders, allowing them to apply electronically for a 9(a) Temporary Visitor’s Visa without needing to visit an embassy or consulate.
With the e-Visa, Nigerians can stay in the Philippines for short stays (often up to about 59 days per entry) depending on the visa category selected. Applicants must submit basic personal and travel information, upload required documents, and pay the applicable fees online. Once approved, the e-Visa is delivered electronically, and travelers must present it along with their passport upon arrival. This digital process simplifies travel planning and makes it more convenient for Nigerian citizens to visit the Philippines for tourism or short-term business.
